I'm guessing I didn't win the Miho Hatori contest...

Oh well. At least I entered. That's something. Here's some more art by me that has nothing to do with Miho Hatori:

How much time does it take to make your great drawings?

I have some of the same programs but I’m a little intimidated and have underdeveloped drawing ability.

I guess I’m thinking of the learning curve and then actual drawing time.

Thanks! Sorry I missed this for so long.

It takes a couple of hours, I guess. I work on them in tiny increments over a matter of weeks sometimes, and other times I spend part of the afternoon.

Work on hand skills with the pencil. When you have structure down... hey, maybe you already do... then move on to the computer.

Although I do some of these completely digitally.

You know, I don't think I've ever turned up and said I love your art, but...I love your art!

I'm getting back into actually producing art again, too. I recently found tons of old stuff I did, and have started lobbing it onto a site. If you're interested, lots of weird things can be seen here. Let me know what you think, there's some good stuff there and some HOO-BOY-BAD!!! stuff there too ;)

Paperghost- Thanks! Hey, I'm really digging your art too. There's an immediacy to it. I think you've mastered what one of my art profs was always trying to drill into us- bold moves.

I'm jealous.
